【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsofferalaboratorymeasureoftheperformanceofbaseballandsoftballbats.Useofthesetestmethodscanprovidequantitativebatted-ballspeedandmetricsofbatperformance.1.1Thesetestmethodsdefineamethodfordeterminingbatperformancebymeasuringthebat-ballcoefficientofrestitution(BBCOR),derivingtheballexitspeedratio(BESR),andcalculatingabatted-ballspeed(BBS).Itisapplicabletobaseballandsoftballbatsofanyconstructionormaterial.Thetestmethodsprovidequantitativemeasuresofbatdynamicperformancethatmaybeusedforcomparisonpurposes.1.2TheBBCOR,BESR,andBBSareeachcalculatedfrommeasurementstakeninthelaboratoryontestequipmentmeetingtherequirementsdefinedinthisspecification.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
