【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodevaluatesthecompatibilityoflubricatinggreasesandfluidswithcouponscutfromstandardelastomersheets(PracticeD3182)or,optionally,fromSAESpecificationAMS3217/2B(NBR-L)andAMS3217/3A(CR)sheets.CompatibilityisevaluatedbydeterminingthechangesinvolumeandDurometerAhardnessthatoccurwhenelastomercouponsaretotallyimmersedinalubricantsamplefor70hateither100or150176;Corasrequiredbythelubricantspecification.1.1.1Somelubricantspecificationsmayrequiredifferenttestconditions,suchaslongerdurationsorlowerorhighertemperatures.Insuchinstances,therepeatabilityandreproducibilityvaluesstatedinSection12donotapply,andtheuserandsuppliershouldagreeonacceptablelimitsofprecision.Note18212;Thescopeofthistestmethodnowincludestheevaluationoftheelastomercompatibilityofbothlubricatingfluidsandgreases.TestingoffluidswasnotincludedinTestMethodD4289-95andearlierversions.1.2Thistestmethodcanalsobeusedasaguidetoevaluatethecompatibilityofgreaseswithrubberproductsnotinstandardsheetform(PracticeD3183).1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIandDurometerAunitsshallberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificwarningstatements,see8.4-8.6.
