【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverspearliticmalleableironcastingsforgeneralengineeringusageattemperaturesfromnormalambienttoapproximately750x00B0;F[400x00B0;C].1.1.1Forcontinuousserviceattemperaturesupto1200x00B0;F[650x00B0;C]designfactorsshouldbeincorporatedtocompensateforpossiblepropertychanges,asdemonstratedbyMarshallandSommerandbyPearson.1.2Withoutknowledgeofcastinggeometryandprocessdetails,noquantitativerelationshipcanbestatedbetweenthepropertiesoftheironinthevariouslocationsofacastingandthoseofatestbarcastfromthesameiron.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.
